2. The size of the bending angle. Sheet bending deformation is theoretically limited to rounded corners. The straight edge department does not involve deformation. The degree of deformation is only related to the bending radius, and has nothing to do with the size of the central angle of the bending. However, in the actual bending process, because of the mutual restraint between the metal fibers, the straight edge department near the rounded corners also involved in the deformation, thereby expanding the scope of the deformation zone. 4. The relationship between the fiber direction of the material and the direction of the bending line. The plasticity index along the fiber direction is higher than the plasticity index on the vertical fiber direction, so if the bending line of the bending part is perpendicular to the fiber direction of the sheet, the bending radius can be smaller; if the bending line of the bending part is parallel to the fiber direction, then The bending radius can be larger. Therefore, when bending a workpiece with a smaller radius, try to make the bend line perpendicular to the fiber direction of the sheet to avoid the outer fiber from being cracked. Multi-directional bending of the workpiece can make the bending line and the fiber direction of the sheet at a certain angle.
When bending, the minimum bending radius is limited by the maximum allowable tensile deformation of the outer layer of the sheet, and beyond this degree of deformation, the sheet will crack.
